Frequently Asked Questions

Do you provide motorcycles or do I have to have my own bike?
No, we do not have motorcycles available for use. Each bike has it’s own nuance – we believe that an important part of training is learning the nuance of your bike and bonding with it at a higher level.
Which course should I take?
That really depends. There are many similarities between the Good Rider Diploma and the Associate Level class. The Good Rider Diploma is an Intermediate level course we recommend for:
- Newer or less experienced riders that want to increase their level of comfort and skill
- Riders that may have stepped away from riding for a while but have recently gotten back on 2 wheels
- Riders that have changed to a new style of bike (i.e. have ridden sport bikes but just purchased a touring bike)
- Riders that have been riding for some time, but have never (or have not recently) taken any formal training
- Riders that don’t practice slow speed skills on a semi-regular basis
The Associate Level class is an advanced class and is recommended for:
- Riders that have previously taken formal training (Beginner or Intermediate)
- Riders that practice slow speed skills on a semi-regular basis
- Riders that have been riding for some time and are comfortable with the basics of operating a motorcycle
- Riders that have a very good grasp of the basic operations of a motorcycle and have recently switched to a new style or motorcycle (i.e. have ridden sport bikes but just purchased a touring bike)
I can’t take the class I need at a time when I can take it. When do you add new classes?
We try to stay several months ahead on our schedule, although this may vary based on the availability and scheduling for our host.
Neither of these classes sound right for me. What other options do I have?
We offer private lessons – many people prefer a 1-1 training experience.
How do I schedule a private lesson?
Just use the “contact us” button or email us at motomastersllc@gmail.com. We’ll discuss what you want to work on and improve on and schedule a time that works for you. We’ll tailor a lesson specifically toward what you want to focus on to ensure you get the most out of your experience.
How much will I improve during a class?
If you don’t show up an expert, you won’t leave an expert. You WILL gain valuable tools and skills to add to your arsenal, which will make you more comfortable and more confident when riding. These tools, with additional practice and seat time, are what will help make you an expert.
Will I get an insurance discount if I take your class?
Unfortunately, no. We’re looking into insurance accreditation, which is what leads to these discounts, but as of now this class will not reduce your insurance cost.
